Friday August 28

Today I have been thinking

About how everything could look like

About the lion and the lamb.
I imagined how train after train stops, squeeking
And how people get out of the train
And that it isn’t world shocking (a train stopping)
No: it’s perfectly normal
So we stop
So it doesn’t matter whether we arrive on time or not
So we’ll catch the next one.
Today I have been thinking about people who no longer put fences around their houses.
People who give away their front garden because they don’t use it anyway.

I have been thinking about birds sitting on my shoulder whistling their opinion once in a while.
About keeping a capricorn as a pet and how my garden should look if so.
About seeing something beautiful and leaving your eye so you can go on looking.
I have been thinking about a road congestion and people just walking out of their cars and going home on foot.

My thoughts wandered off to a party
A huge party where everybody’s invited and no one has to queue
A party organized by everyone where people do their own dishes
A party at which we celebrate a tower
A huge picket
That will stand tall  (hopefully)
So we can say:
If we lose one another, we meet at the tower.
After thinking about all of this, we broke off the tower and rebuilt it again.
Higher and more exact, like we wanted it.
