Bâtard festival
From 2013 till 2018 I've been involved in the artistic team of Bâtard, first together with Dries Douibi and Pamina De Coulon, later with Bryana Fritz and Dries Douibi. Bâtard is a festival. During the past 15 editions we have been supporting artists by offering them a chance to show their work in and around the Beursschouwburg in Brussels.
Since 2004 Bâtard has been organized in different shapes and sizes by different coordinators, though the intention was always the same: to organize a festival for young artists. Throughout the years the concept of a festival has been questioned regularly, with one core question: what do young artists need?
